Education. Advocacy. Community.
These key areas form the foundation
of our organization. Host2Host is founded on the belief that together, we are stronger.
Through education, we learn from each other and improve our professional hospitality practices.
Through advocacy, we protect
and advance our common interests.
And through community, we strengthen our relationships not only with each other but also with the people and businesses in our own host neighborhoods.

After a long career as a classroom teacher & tutor, I decided a few years ago that I was ready to do something totally different, and opened our spacious & cheerful studio over our garage as an Airbnb in May of 2018. The timing was perfect since our daughter graduated from college that summer & shortly thereafter moved to Washington DC to work in journalism. As an empty nester, I was definitely needing something fun to keep me busy with our daughter so far away & while my husband continued to work. Bringing in some extra revenue was a welcome perk. We love being Airbnb hosts & will be so glad when we can open our studio again to guests from all over the world.
